Long ago, I was alone with the Chaos.
The noise of the Chaos pained my heart, and so I took refuge in the
Silence.
The Silence pained me too, and so I created the world.
Among the people of this world, I finally found my rightful place;
Where they worshipped me,
And named me their god.

The creator spoke:
"I was alone in the blackness.
Because the blackness' noise was deafening, I took refuge in
silence.
In silence I created the world alone.
In this world, I was finally in my place, among men.
These men named me their god,
And as their god they worshipped me."

Word-for-word translation: 

Vilom spoke:
"I was alone in the black.
Because black's noise deafening was, I settled into silence.
In silence made alone I the world.
At world was finally I in my place with men.
These men named me their god,
and as their god worshipped they me."

I was alone in the midst of darkness--
in the darkness was deafening noise, I withdrew into silence--
there in the silence by myself I created the world--

I was standing in the middle of a dark place.
I cried out in the darkness,
 lost my hearing,
 and departed in silence.
In the distance,
 I made the world in the silence.
There in the world I found my place with the people.
They called me "Holy Spirit" all over the world,
 and they admired me, the sacred spirit.

I stand in the middle of a dark place.
I shouted in darkness,
and lost my hearing ability,
and departed in silence.
I made a world in silence in a distant place.
I discovered there in my world
that my realm had a people.
They named me "Holy Spirit" throughout the whole world,
and praised me, Holy Spirit.

I was in the middle of the dark place.
I screamed in the darkness,
and I lost my hearing,
and I disappeared in silence.
I silently created a world in a place far away.
There I discovered my world.
The people is in my realm.
They called me the holy Allfather in the entire world,
and they praised me, the holy Allfather.

I was in the Shadow, I cried in the darkness,
  and thus lost my hearing,
  and departed from the silence.
In silence I bargained for a faraway forest.
I discovered the people in my forest.
I named myself in the wood,
  and I saluted myself,
  the Sower of Shadows.

I was walking in lost blackness  
and I entered into speaking. 
I lost then my hearing,                 
and I departed silently.               
And using a far off forest, I made a bargain. 
From out of my own forest came a company, to find me.  
I named myself in the woodland,  
and I sung many praises to my name, 
for I was, the planter of the void.

Without destination I walked within Void
and I came into a sound.
But my hearing became lost at that moment in that place
and I exited silently.
And with a forest far away I became trustworthy.
Outside of my forest a company of warriors found me.
I named myself in the wilderness
and I sang many blessings for my name
because I was the planter of Wilderness.
