A Crazed Rubber Duck and an Amused Chicken Discuss Life
Duck: Witness that I am a rubber duck! (I know this through long
study.)
Chicken: You are indeed a rubber duck.
Duck: I stand upon the Mountains of Valor!
Chicken: From what land do those mountains rise?
Duck: They rise from the land of those who wield the Calendar Swords
and disdain all trousers!
Chicken: The pantless warriors return!
And so the chicken was amused for that day and the rubber duck
continued to be insane.

A very dramatic rubber duck and a playful chicken talk about life

Duck: Look at me, who has discovered that he is a rubber duck!

Chicken: Indeed you are a rubber duck.

Duck: I often stand guard on the mountains of valour!

Chicken: Where do the mountains rise from?

Duck: The mountains rise from the land of those who use the swords of
the calendar, and who disdain all pants!

Chicken: The pantless warriors are coming!

So on that day the chicken had fun and the duck continued being
dramatic.

The Deeply Philosophical Statue of a Duck & The Fool
Duck: It appears that I am a figurine!
Chicken: Indeed you are!
Duck: The courageous often keep watch at the mountain!
Chicken: Where does the mountain stand?
Duck: Those who use the seasonal sword are there. All their pants
are
uncomfortable.
Chicken: The warriors do not put pants on!
And later that day the chicken played and the duck continued to
think
of life as difficult.

This translation had both an easy part and some extremely difficult
parts. The easy part was because May28 and Valaklwuuxa are
syntactically similar. However, the text was full of non-sequiturs and
there were a couple of phrases I couldn't translate into either
English or May28; these were replaced or omitted. Finally, I had to
revise the May28 grammar in order to make the translation less clumsy.

This is a funny story about a very clever dragon.

Said the dragon “I think about the whole universe.”

Said the bird “thou understands the universe.”

Said the dragon “The brave one sees the secret mountain.”

Said the bird “what mountain?”

Said the dragon “We stand at a hard place as we are on the mountain.

Someone is embarrassed because of something they are not wearing”

Said the bird “They want a fight over long clothes?

I think that is funny, and they want you over there”

Here follows a tale about a cleverly abstruse dragon. This dragon and
a bird were talking, and the dragon said,

"I am contemplating the Universe." And the bird said,

"You are understanding the Universe."And the dragon replied,

He who is brave sees the Secret Mountain." At this, the bird asked,

"What mountain?"

"We are on the mountain at a hard place. We fight against the
Embarassing Ones because of their mode of dress." The bird asked,

"You mean they want to fight over tasteless clothes?" And thus did the
dragon respond:

"I think that you are a funny bird, but they think that you are over
yonder."
